Advisory Committee Team

ELAC Engineering - Advisory Committee Team

The Business & Industry Leadership Team's (BILT) MISSION puts businesses in a co-leadership role for college technical programs so they have direct input into the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) that program graduates should possess 12-36 months into the future which produces candidates that businesses are more likely to hire. Because members must be Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to truly know what KSAs are needed, the BILT team focuses on a single sub-discipline rather than all the programs in a division. The BILT team can help signify to faculty and administrators shifts in mission and processes in industry (from NSF report titled "Implementing the BILT Model Business Engagement").
