WELCOME BACK TO THE LANGUAGE LAB, HUSKIES!

The Fall semester is here, and we are so glad to have you back on campus! The Language Lab is resuming in-person services. Whether in person or online, we are here to help. If you are visiting us on campus, don't forget to complete the required District's Symptoms Self-Check Survey. Click HERE to access it.

Face Mask Required
And for your safety and ours, face masks are required at all times when visiting our premises.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing you!

The Language Lab is dedicated to serving ELAC students in a creative environment focused on strengthening students’ language skills. We strive to provide interactive and independent activities that fit each student’s learning style and individual needs.

As language is a skill requiring continuous use, we offer ongoing tutoring support and weekly workshops, web resources and software to keep your practice continual.

The following services are available:

Tutoring

We offer tutoring for all modern languages and ESL courses (regular and non-credit)!

Our 20-minute to 1-hour tutoring sessions are offered in one-to-one or group sessions.

Group tutoring sessions can be arranged with the front desk staff, or one student can make an appointment and bring 3-4 classmates to the session. For group tutoring sessions, we strongly encourage all participants to be in a class with the same instructor.

Tutoring is offered by appointment or by walk-in. If you want to walk-in for tutoring, you need to arrive in the hour before when you wish to be seen. For instance, for a walk-in session at 12:00pm, you need to arrive between 11am-11:50am. Walk-in tutoring is not guaranteed; it’s always better to schedule an appointment.
