About me: I love what I do. It does not matter if I am teaching about quote sandwiches, making somewhat funny jokes in class, assisting a student in revising an essay, or talking with students about their educational experiences during office hours- working with minds young and old to help them find their voice and motivation through education makes me happy. It is this joy that has kept me teaching for well over a decade and will keep me dedicated to assisting any student who walks into my classroom ready to work hard and to learn.
I also love my two kids, Luna and Nylen, and my husband, Abel, who are my heart.
More things that I love include having carne asada barbecues with family and loud music, exploring new places, reading all types of books, and listening to podcasts/ audio books. But I definitely do not love traffic.
