Succeed @ ELAC
The health care industry in America offers exceptional career opportunities for well trained technicians and medical personnel. Electron microscopy blends academic and technical skills to prepare technicians to operate sophisticated microscopes and cameras that reveal the microscopic structures of tissues and cells. Graduates are in high demand for occupations as diverse as DNA analysis and medical research support to working in dental and hospital laboratories. The program provides international students who have medical degrees the opportunity to update their basic science courses and learn about microscopy while applying for professional school admission. More than 60 graduates of the ELAC Electron Microscopy program have transferred to medical schools nationwide and have completed their M.A., M.S., Ph.D., D.D.S., D.O., and M.D. degrees.
