Math Advancement Program (MAP)
The Math Advancement Program (MAP) allows interested students to complete two math courses in one semester. These are 8-week compressed courses - the same content as the normal course, just in half the time. During the first 8-weeks of the semester you finish one course, then you move directly into the next course during the second 8-weeks of the semester. In addition, as long as you pass the first course, you are guaranteed a spot in the second course - no competing for an add slip!
All MAP courses meet 4-days a week, and have an additional mandatory meeting on Friday. During the Friday session students will go over additional material designed by your instructor with a master tutor.
Online materials are also a centerpiece of MAP. The MAP instructors have worked diligently to put together a set of homework and additional materials that will extend your understanding of the course material.
