Megan holds a Master of Arts degree in commercial music from California State University, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Plymouth State College, Plymouth, New Hampshire, where she majored in percussion and studied composition. She is in the ABD phase of completing a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Music Education from Boston University. Megan is the middle and upper school instrumental music teacher at Polytechnic School in Pasadena. In addition, she is an instructor of music fundamentals and music appreciation at East Los Angeles College. As a performing musician, Ms. Foley has studied with Jeff Hamilton, Joe Porcaro and Jonathan Haas, toured Japan and Europe, appeared at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and can be heard at various venues in southern California. When not teaching, performing, or working on her dissertation, Ms. Foley spends her time following the New York Yankees and being a parent to her wildly talented son, Tallis.
