All MESA Program students and student workers are required to attain a 4-week and 8-week academic progress report from their STEM professors each fall and spring semesters. The progress report can act as an icebreaker to help MESA students build meaningful relationships with their STEM professors and track their class progress early. Additionally, the progress reports provide MESA Program director and STEM counselors with early indicators of student progress. Students identified as having potential to benefit from intrusive, yet individually-tailored, academic support will be contacted by STEM counselors directly.
