Web 2.0 The term 'Web 2.0' describes the changing trend in the use of the World Wide Web and web design that aim to enhance creativity, communications, secure information sharing, collaboration and functionality of the web" (see "Web 2.0" Wikipedia). By integrating the advancements of the internet to the classroom, instructors can use these "Web tools" to communicate with the students in their own "language", increasing student engagement, accountability and learning, in and out of the classroom.
