The Fiscal Office is the campus center for fee collections and disbursement of funds, financial aid checks, and scholarship checks. The office also established and maintains all ASU accounts. Included in the Fiscal Office is Payroll, and Personnel for certificated, classified, unclassified, and student worker employees on campus.
The Fiscal Office also sells parking permits each semester to students who have paid their enrollment fees or are paying these fees at the same time. Refunds can be requested at the Fiscal Office once the class has been dropped at the Admissions Office prior to the deadline date.
Students wishing to pay enrollment and/or parking fees may do so by visiting the Fiscal Office. Acceptable forms of payment are personal check (with valid California Identification), credit card, or money order.
The Fiscal Office is located adjacent to the ELAC Bookstore, in G1-112. See the Campus Map for the exact location. The hours are 8:30am to 7:00pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8:30am to 3:30pm Friday.

ABILITY TO BENEFIT
Students who meet one of the qualifications listed below have demonstrated the ability to benefit from a college education in accordance with applicable Federal Regulations.
1 Received a high school diploma; or
2 Passed a high school proficiency exam; or
3 Received a certificate of General Education Development (GED); or
4 Successfully completed a two-year program (minimum 48 units) that is acceptable for full credit toward a bachelor's degree. This student may be admitted on the basis that he or she has the recognized equivalent of a high school diplomat; or
5 Passed an independently administered test that is approved by the Secretary of the Department of Education.
Beginning Spring 1991, non-high school graduate students who have been continuously enrolled and have satisfactorily completed at least one(1) unit each semester are exempt from taking the approved test. Students in this category must have a counselor's certification of ability to benefit.
