Federal and State Financial Aid funds and scholarships can help students with costs of fees, books, supplies, rent, food, and other expenses. The financial aid office distributes and processes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The staff is available to assist both students and parents.
Our comprehensive Financial Aid and Scholarship Information website describes various programs and the process in greater detail http://www.elac.edu/admission/finaid/index.htm
- Apply for financial aid early, starting January 1.
March 2 is the deadline for some of the funding programs.
- One of the simplest and quickest types of financial aid is the Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOG). By completing the FAFSA on the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov and listing our school code 001222, you are automatically applying for the BOG program already and you will not require to fill out a separate BOG application.
Even if you are late for other types of financial aid, consider applying for this aid which covers the cost of your registration fees.
