Important Dates

The East Los Angeles College's Commencement Ceremony is fast approaching. This year's ceremony is set for Friday May 30th at 6:00 p.m. in Weingart Stadium.

April 20th :  Last day to petition for graduation. Students who submit by April 20th will be listed in the graduation program.

April 16th:  Transfer Student Reception,6pm -8pm location (Transfer Center)

May 30th:

• Mandatory Rehearsal , 12:00 noon: There is a mandatory rehearsal that is required for all graduates. The rehearsal will begin at 12 noon on Friday, May 30 in the Women’s Athletic Field located next to the E9 building.

• Arrival Information,4:30p.m.: Graduates: Every graduate will need to pickup a name card prior to the graduation ceremony. Distribution of name cards will begin at 4:30p.m. outside of the Women’s Gym. Please silence cell phones during ceremony.

• Guest Admission: Family and guests are encouraged to arrive early. Gates to the Weingart Stadium will open at 5:00p.m. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Parking will be available in the Weingart Stadium parking lot and the ASU Northeast parking lot. Graduation Ceremony, 6pm
