I have been working with children for the last four years. I am actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and a Multiple Subjects Credential from National University. I graduated from East Los Angeles College and earned an A.A. degree in Child Development and Social and Behavioral studies. I hold multiple certificates that allow me to work with a diverse population of children and learning environments. My long term goal is to pursue a doctoral degree in order to teach college level and graduate courses in child development.
My teaching philosophy is grounded on the belief that children best learn through intentional play and exploration. As an educator I enjoy providing my students with a rich and nurturing classroom learning environment that enables them to reach their highest potential and experience different levels of success.
