SALVATION ARMY HAVEN PROGRAM - BLDG. 212
The agency provides employment services, housing services, residential treatment for substance abuse and shelter for homeless veterans in Los Angeles County. The Alpha Center Program services include emergency, short-term housing for up to 14 days for up to 45 male and female homeless veterans. Each resident is provided a hygiene care kit, meals, showers, bed, linen, and a locker. Some clothing is available.

WEINGART CENTER ASSOCIATION
The agency provides shelter services for homeless veterans in Los Angeles County. Services include transitional housing/shelter services. The Veterans Program is designed to help veterans break their cycle of homelessness by helping them obtain an income, save money, and find permanent housing. The average length of stay is two years. UNITED STATES VETERANS INITIATIVE
The agency provides transitional shelter services to homeless veterans in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Transitional shelter services are available for unemployed veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The services function as a residential welfare to work program with four areas of focus: employment; sobriety maintenance, relapse prevention, and securing stability in the home and work place.

SINGLE ROOM OCCUPANCY HOUSING CORPORATION
The Veterans Transitional Program operates 60 units of transitional, sober-living housing for homeless veterans. Most participants are referred by the Veterans Administration and are required to have a minimum of 60 days of sobriety upon entrance.
