TESSA TROGLIA's Biography

 

A native of San Bernardino, Calif., Tessa Troglia comes to East College with great credentials as a player and coach.

 

In addition to being a tremendous player at La Serna High in Whittier, Calif. and Cal State University, Los Angeles, Tessa played for F.C. Girona, a Division I women’s professional team in Spain. She now plays for the Los Angeles Rampage, a new franchise in the Women’s Premier Soccer League.

 

Tessa has coached at La Serna for the past eight years as the head coach for the girls’ varsity soccer program. In fact, in 2008 her team went undefeated in league and clinched the CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) championship.

 

At the collegiate level, she was the women’s soccer assistant coach at Cerritos College, which won the state championship in 2007. Also, Tessa currently possesses her “D” national coaching license.

In her free time, Tessa likes to work out, play cards and take a quality nap, for which she usually doesn’t have much time.
