Starting Point

This is the main online catalog page.  This is your starting point.  From here you will do a basic search. You can search in document titles, keywords and full text.

Searching in Document Titles

This option allows you to look for documents with your keyword or phrase in the title.

Searching by Keyword

The Keyword option lets you search through every word in a document: including the titles, introductory text, and authors. It searches through the first 50 words in the article. It will also search the index at the end of the document, if available. This option is a good starting point if you want a broad range of results.

Searching by Full Text

The Full Text option looks for any word or words throughout the entire text of every document in the database(s) you have chosen to search. It will also look for documents using the methods described above in the Keyword search. This is a good search to use if you are looking for a particular line of text or an unusual phrase.
