Books

Books cover virtually any topic, fact or fiction.

Libraries organize and store their book collections on shelves called "stacks." In addition to the regular stacks, the ELAC library also has a Reference section containing books that can only be used within the library. Also, the ELAC Library now purchases many e-books, which are available electronically through your Web browser.

Use a Book

  • when looking for in-depth information on a topic
  • to put your topic in context with other important issues
  • to find historical information
  • to find summaries of research to support an argument
