2. Subject Article Databases

• Is your topic in a particular area of study?

If so, use a subject index. They specialize in a particular subject, and the articles indexed are generally from scholarly sources. For example:

	Literature Resource Center includes biographies of authors, bibliographies related to particular authors or famous works, and critical analyses of over 120,000 works from every era and literary discipline.
	Ethnic NewsWatch is a full text, interdisciplinary database of articles from the ethnic, minority and native press. Content is drawn from magazines, newspapers and journals. This database provides access to unique viewpoints that may not mirror those found in the mainstream press.
