NOTICE OF ACTION TO DEDICATE REAL PROPERTY
The Los Angeles Community College District (District) Board of Trustees will consider adoption of a Resolution to Dedicate Real Property to the City Of Monterey Park at its regularly scheduled public meeting on November 2, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at Los Angeles Trade Technical College located at 400 W. Washington Boulevard, Los Angeles in the South Campus Technology Building Room – TE 101 – First Floor.
The real property under consideration by the Board of Trustees is the following portion of real property adjacent to East Los Angeles College (ELAC) located in the City of Monterey Park as identified in the Legal Description and Site Map herein attached as (Attachments 1 and 2). East Los Angeles College is located at 1301 Avenida Cesar Chavez, Monterey Park.
The real property is being dedicated for the purpose of conveying to the centerline of Floral Drive adjacent to East Los Angeles College site location a strip of ELAC property described above to widen Floral Drive to provide a deceleration lane onto the entry driveway of the ELAC Parking Structure 4 as well as a right turn lane onto Collegian Avenue.
Public postings of this Notice shall be made in accordance with Education Code Section 81315 prior to the board meeting for which the action is taken.
