Admission to the College

If you are a new student and have not yet applied for admission to ELAC, this is the first thing you must do. You can apply for admission in two ways:

1. Apply online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using the ELAC Online Application for Admission.
2. Apply in-person at the ELAC Admissions Office located in building E1-115.

Enrolling in Online classes before the first day of class 

Once you have been admitted to the college, there are two ways to enroll in an online courses before the first day of class:

1. Enroll online using the LACCD Student Information System.
2. Enroll in-person at the ELAC Admissions Office located in building E1-115.

Adding in Online classes after the first day of class

Enroll early! Online courses fill up quickly and many are full, long before the first day of classes.

If you would like to try to add a course that is full or closed, you must email the instructor for permission. Instructor email addresses are listed on the Online Classes website under each course description. (http://www.elac.edu/online)

Be sure to include the following in all email communications:

• Course name and section number in the subject line of your email
• Your full name, email address, STUDENT ID NUMBER, and a phone number

IMPORTANT:  We will only be able to process your add request if you use the email account that is listed for you in the Student Information System.
