"Justice for My Sister": Documentary Film Screening and Discussion
Tuesday, October 4th: 12:00-1:30, Edison Auditorium Foyer, G3. Discussion with Director Kimberly Bautista will follow screening. Adela Chacon Tax was violently killed July of 2007 in her hometown of Escuintla, Guatemala. Justice for my Sister examines the problem of femicide, hate crimes against women, with an intimate look at loss, violence, and one woman's determination to push the trial through until her sister's killer is sentenced accordingly.
