ELAC RESPIRATORY THERAPY APPLICATION AMENDMENT POLICY

Note: Changes to the rules, regulations related to the ELAC Respiratory Therapy Application and it's submission process may change at any type via an amendment policy added under this section Approval of these changes will be made in coordination with the leadership team of the ELAC Respiratory Therapy Department.

Fall 2022 Respiratory Therapy Application Information

The ELAC Respiratory Therapy Department is happy to announce that we will be opening the Fall 2022 Respiratory Therapy Application period starting December 3, 2021 through April 15, 2022.

This cohort application process has changed, please read the information below to be guided on the requirements needed for you to apply to the ELAC Respiratory Therapy Program.

You must have completed the following prerequisites prior to applying:

  • RT-101: Introduction to Respiratory Therapy. (2 Units)
  • HTH-TEK 133: Medical Terminology. (3 Units)
  • Anatomy 001 or Bio 020: Human Anatomy w/ Lab. (4 Units)
  • Physiology 001 or Bio 020: Human Physiology w/ Lab. (4 Units)
  • Chem 051 or 065: Introduction to General Chemistry. (4-5 Units)
  • Math 125 or higher. (4-5 Units)

If by chance you are missing one or two pre-requisite courses and know that you will be taking them in Spring 2022, then submit the unofficial transcript that states that you will be taking this missing pre-requisite. If the unofficial transcript doesn't show this, the application will be discarded.

Please provide all the information requested on the application. If you are not sure of the information, then please write "Not Applicable." At the end of the application, you will need to upload the following information:

  • Unofficial Transcripts for all the colleges listed on the application.
  • Provide us with your resume.
  • Provide us with a personal statement. It should not exceed one page.
  • If you're a veteran, we will need for you to submit your DD-214.
