Dream Act Application (CADAA) Workshop

If you are not a US citizen and do not have a green card, you may be eligble for California financial aid as an AB 540 student. Learn more about financial aid and receive help completing the Dream Act Application at this workshop!
You can be considered an AB 540 student if you:
- Attended a California high school for at least 3 years
- Graduated from a California high school, got a GED or passed the California High School Proficiency Exam
- Are registered or enrolled at a community college
- Completed an affidavit stating you have filed for legal immigration status (please contact the school for more info)
AB 540 Students may be eligible for:
- Privately-funded scholarships
- California Promise Grant Tuition Fee Waiver
- Assistance from EOPS, CARE, or CalWORKs
- State financial aid like Cal Grants or Chafee Grant
- State funded service under DSIG
