College Corp Fellowship Opportunity

East Los Angeles College is excited to announce the College Corps state-wide initiative program dedicated to promoting community engagement. This is a great student opportunity to gain work experience and earn a living stipend up to $10,000.  Placement opportunities will be on-campus or off-campus.

Federal Work Study Interest Form

2022-2023 Federal Work Study Interest Form will become available on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. If you are interested in obtaining a Federal Work Study position, you must sign up with the interest form to be on the priority award list. The Interest form will be available through the Student Portal.

Students who are on the Interest List will be contacted on a first-come, first-serve basis, please respond as soon as the list opens for the highest consideration. You will need to meet the following criteria:

· Completed and filed a 2022-2023 FAFSA,

· Submitted all required financial aid documents and forms,

· Meet satisfactory academic progress standards,

· Be enrolled in 6 or more approved units. Priority is given to those who enrolled with at least 6 unit at ELAC

· Select ELAC as your home school, and

· Sign up on the FWS Interest List

The Asian American Architects and Engineers Foundation (AAa/e Foundation) was created in 2004 as a branch of the AAa/e to better support the efforts of the AAa/e in seeking additional means of fundraising for scholarships. The AAa/e Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities and scholarships for students and other individuals in the profession of architecture, engineering or construction.

The purpose of the scholarships and grants is to provide encouragement and financial support for students and professionals in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC).

Kaiser Permanente Health Equity Scholarship

The Kaiser Permanente Health Equity Scholars Program aims to support young leaders who have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a clinical (e.g., pharmacist, physician, practitioner, nurse) or non-clinical (e.g., accounting, business administration, human resources, marketing, public policy) career in the healthcare industry.

AJ Wang Foundation - Scholarship Fund

AJ Wang Foundation was established as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization in November, 2008 to provide funding to various educational institutions to support students. The Scholarship Fund, a component of the AJ Wang Foundation, was established in 2013. The Scholarship Fund also receives donations from others wishing to participate in "giving back" in the same manner as the founders. Within the last nine (9) years, the Scholarship Fund has granted over 300 community college and some eligible 4-year university students scholarships totaling over $900,000.

The Scholarship Fund is targeting students attending identified community colleges in the Southern California area, starting with Los Angeles County. The Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for up to three consecutive years for students attending one or more of the designated community colleges and awarded to students with the greatest financial need and satisfactory academic standing. The Scholarship Fund has provided over 300 students with over $900,000 since school year 2013-14, granting $2,000 per student each year for up to three years while attending selected community colleges in the Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange County areas.
