Program Overview

The East Los Angeles College Respiratory Therapy Program is home to two distinguished pathways, the Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy (ASRT) and the Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BSRT). Together, these programs are designed to prepare future Respiratory Therapists with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to thrive in today’s healthcare environment.

Our comprehensive curriculum for the ASRT Program combines rigorous classroom instruction with state-of-the-art laboratory training and supervised clinical practice. This approach ensures that students graduate not only with a strong academic foundation but also with the real-world experience necessary to excel in patient care. Our comprehensive curriculum for the BSRT Program is dedicated for hard working Registered Respiratory Therapists already in the field and that want to prepare for a higher lever of education online that can enhance their career.
