Literature Courses

Did you know that taking literature classes through the English Department can help students from all majors to complete their IGETC General Education Requirements and become transfer-ready? 

All majors must complete 3 Humanities IGETC Aream 3B requirements. Now that you have taken English 101, you are well prepared to take one of our exciting literature classes being offered this Winter and Spring semester. 

Consider enrolling in one of the following to complete your Humanities credits: 

Students from all disciplines can take these courses after they have completed English 101. Some of these classes are required for the English major at various transfer schools. Visit the Transfer Center to learn more about our major!  There are several careers to explore with English as major.  Visit our Career and Job Services Center and make an appointment to meet with a specialist!
