Pathways
Find out which classes you need to complete a degree or certificate.
Acquire the skills you need to serve your community, by specializing in law enforcement, corrections, forensics, public safety planning, disaster response, and administration of justice.
Express your creativity visually through drawing, painting, photography, image editing, digital art, and more. Study all aspects of performing arts, including dance, music, and theatre production. Acquire design techniques and principles for practical uses of art, such as architectural design, costume design and stage design.
Start or advance an adaptable career and academic path that can be applied to nearly every industry. Programs focus on management, office technology (hardware & software), accounting, law, real estate, entrepreneurship, logistics, economics, marketing, and computer systems.
If you haven’t yet decided on a major or if you need foundational skills to achieve college success, this is an excellent pathway for you. There are courses for students with basic to advanced skills, including classes to help students learn English, sharpen reasoning and communication skills, and navigate steps to college success. If you are unsure what you’d like to major in, acquire a breadth of knowledge in an area of interest to you- Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, or Arts and Humanities- to help you determine your focused academic and career path.
Acquire the knowledge and skills you need in healthcare by pursuing a career as a nurse, EMT, personal trainer, and more. Gain skills in non-clinical support services, such as health information coding and billing, that support healthcare practices and enhance patient care.
Expand and practice your reading/writing skills to successfully communicate and express yourself through speaking and writing. Discover new and exciting channels of communication. Study a new or familiar language and culture to improve your communication skills and to prepare you for career and travel opportunities.
Acquire the knowledge and skills to facilitate children’s academic and personal development. Explore philosophical questions and learn about the psychological processes underlying human thought and behavior. Learn about how people and societies have transformed over the course of history, and about how gender, race, class, and sexuality intersect in the human experience. Learn about global issues, politics, and government as they relate to our own and other countries.
