Kognito Training – Help an at-risk student, classmate, or friend

Kognito Banner :: at-risk for Students. Help a friend who is sttruggling, Online training game for students. START NOW

One of your friends, classmates, or students might be at risk. As a friend or classmate, you might be the first one to notice signs of distress in a fellow student. At ELAC, since it is our shared responsibility to look out for one another, we have adopted a suite of online interactive role-play environments to help you to better notice when fellow students show signs of stress, learn how to talk about these signs, practice sharing your concerns, and learn how to motivate classmates to seek help and reach out to support services on campus. You can help a friend or classmate who’s struggling and create a more supportive and inclusive campus for all.

Extra credit opportunity!

Ask your professors if they’re offering extra credit for this training. Print out your certificate when you’ve completed each module.

There are three simulations available for students and three for faculty, staff and administrators. Each virtual role-play takes only 30-40 minutes to complete. You can save your progress and complete it later. Accessible 24/7.
